                         Estado. Analisando os fatores clim{\'a}ticos, como a m{\'e}dia 
                         de temperatura relativamente alta da capital e os fatores 
                         antr{\'o}picos, como as cont{\'{\i}}nuas rela{\c{c}}{\~o}es: 
                         crescimento populacional, expans{\~a}o urbana e cobertura 
                         vegetal, chegamos {\`a} conclus{\~a}o de que tais fen{\^o}menos 
                         provocados pela ocupa{\c{c}}{\~a}o humana do territ{\'o}rio 
                         interferem diretamente no aumento da temperatura da localidade. 
                         Neste contexto, este trabalho visa avaliar a varia{\c{c}}{\~a}o 
                         da temperatura de superf{\'{\i}}cie na zona norte da cidade 
                         entre 1994 e 2014. Atrav{\'e}s de processamento digital de 
                         imagens, utilizou-se as t{\'e}cnicas de gera{\c{c}}{\~a}o de 
                         imagens NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) para 
                         averiguar a varia{\c{c}}{\~a}o espacial da 
                         vegeta{\c{c}}{\~a}o, o m{\'e}todo de classifica{\c{c}}{\~a}o 
                         n{\~a}o supervisionada por pixel Kmedias para realizar o estudo 
                         de uso e ocupa{\c{c}}{\~a}o de solo e o c{\'a}lculo da 
                         temperatura de superf{\'{\i}}cie, baseado na f{\'o}rmula de 
                         Malaret et. al (1985) para avaliar as mudan{\c{c}}as na 
                         temperatura de superf{\'{\i}}cie ao longo do tempo proposto. 
                         Conclui-se que houve expressivo desmatamento na {\'a}rea de 
                         estudo correlacionado a um aumento significativo na mancha urbana 
                         e a expans{\~a}o da mancha de calor antes concentrada no centro 
                         da cidade. Destaca-se a import{\^a}ncia da vegeta{\c{c}}{\~a}o 
                         no controle do aumento da temperatura, e a import{\^a}ncia do 
                         crescimento ordenado da cidade, com preven{\c{c}}{\~a}o ao meio 
                         ambiente e a aplica{\c{c}}{\~a}o de um modelo de vida 
                         sustent{\'a}vel.Teresina is the capital of Piau{\'{\i}} and one 
                         of the most populous municipality in the state. Analyzing climatic 
                         factors, such as the relatively high average temperature of the 
                         capital and the anthropic factors, such as the continuous 
                         relations: Population Growth, Urban Expansion and vegetal cover, 
                         it was concluded that such phenomena caused by the human 
                         occupation of the territory interfere directly Increase in the 
                         temperature of the locality. In this context, this work aims to 
                         evaluate the variation of surface temperature in the north zone of 
                         the city between 1994 and 2014. Through digital image processing, 
                         the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) imaging 
                         techniques were used to investigate the spatial variation of 
                         vegetation, the non-supervised classification method by pixel 
                         Kmedias to perform the study of land use and occupation And the 
                         calculation of the surface temperature, based on the formula of 
                         Malaret et. al (1985) to evaluate changes in surface temperature 
                         over time. It was concluded that there was significant 
                         deforestation in the area of study correlated to a significant 
                         increase in the urban spot and to an expansion of the previously 
                         concentrated heat spot in the city center. It is important to 
                         emphasize the importance of vegetation in the control of 
                         temperature increase, and the importance of orderly growth of the 
                         city, with prevention of the environment and the application of a 
                         sustainable model of life.",
